Chillitsphil On the contrary Coppell would have a chance to achieve something great with England, and go into English football folklore, I think he'd take it.


He'd have no chance of that, which is one the reasons he wouldn;t take it.

I suspect Coppell would rather kiss Wally Downes than spend 50% of his working life in an office, 25% working with a bunch of players who mostly don;t want to be there and 25% dealing with the lowlife members of the press.

I don;t expect him to stay at Reading for ever, but I certainly don;t expect it will be the call of the England job that will lure him away.
