For me it's between Pog & Alex Mc. They have been the only 2 that have been consistent ALL season IMO. Even when Pog hasn't scored, he's worked his bollox off & Alex Mc has been outstanding bar a couple of recent errors.

There have been so many games where we've clung on because of his worldy saves.

Right now, I'd vote my top 3 as:

Gunter

Oh and a quiet nod for Gorkss. Think he's done well for us actually.

Pogregnyak for me. McCarthy has had a good season, as had Gorkss and Pearce. And The Fondler. Guthrie hasn't. Danny Williams is one to watch. McAnuff is Reading's most underrated player - we need him.

Most disappointing? Mccleary. Really, he has it all but shows it once every four games at most. Not good enough.

tbf in the last 4 season's PoTS vote, non-Aryans have made up 50% of the top 3 spots.

No non-white winners, but who could really argue against Gylfi, Pearce and Long for their wins. Last season nobody deserved a round of applause imo.

Can't remember the top 3 of 2008/9, but Armstrong was well worthy of his landslide victory imo.

Sums up how mediocre our season has been if an average plodder like Gunter is POTS.

This!!! Can't believe he was made captain last week!!!

Mcleary for me, scored some cracking goals, set up soooo many opportunities (both scored and missed) and still all without playing every game b/c NA seems to want to take our most threatening midfielder off when chasing a game

The problem with McCleary is his consistancy. When we're up he's the creator of everything good, and if we're struggling he's completely anonymous. The likes of Pog, Gunter, McCarthy have managed to put in workman-like, but not spectacular performances when it's going against us.
