As not all of the 2800 ticket holders will want the coach travel, will it be carried over if more tickets are released?

Maybe people on here who get tickets but don't need the coach tickets could pass them on to others?

If you hire a minibus with a driver, what is the likelihood the driver is going to let you drink alcohol on the way?

I think the club need to make a rapid decision and request the extra allocation asap, otherwise it will either be a free for all on Wednesday morning at the stadium or they will leave the request too late to realistically sell all the tickets.

I also think that the sensible people will be the ones who get their asses down to the ticket office when it opens on Wednesday morning and get their tickets in their hand, not relying on the postal system.

Thats easier said than done when some of us have a job of work to do and live 70 miles from the Madejski.

Absolutely, Leicester to Reading and back to Leicester to get a ticket. I think the coach ought to come and pick me up from my door if I can get a ticket.

Would love to be able to rely on the post, but in the village we live in the postman turns up whenever suits them.

I wonder if the club will offer a recorded delivery option for extra cost.

Some clubs do, some make it mandatory.

Will one of the free coaches pull off the M6 at J13 and call into Staffers to pick me up?

Didn't we sell out of our allocation for Stevenage before some of the Royalty Points tiers got a look in, or am I imagining that?

I can only assume that there are less than 2.800 with 1600 points and whatever is left is going to go very very early on Tuesday morning.

Surely, the club knew that by offering free travel together with this being a quarter final and not midweek, that many more people than could make Everton will go?

Is it only free coach travel for the first 2,800 (assuming we ask for a further allocation) or is it free coach travel for anyone that wants it?

Not been published yet - almost certainly there'll be some free travel for part of a second tranche of tickets as not all of the initial 2,800 ticket buyers will want the free travel. (Some live up North, some prefer to have a beer before the match, etc.)

You moaning Barstewards

The club are offering FREE transport for 2800 of us. Something they have NEVER done before.

Typical that the moaning minnies are out in force tonight.

I spent the best part of 9 hours cramped up in a car, using about £70 worth of fuel on Tuesday getting to and from Everton. The thought of a similar journey next Sunday was not exactly enthralling.

Personally I am grateful for the gesture. I have had years of getting shafted by the club for varying reasons and for once cannot see a problem with this.

Thank you RFC and I offer an apology for the miserable TW@TS that follow this club.

Yes I would love to. However, I start work at 05.30 next Wednesday morning, and finish at 11.30 some 100 miles away from Reading. If I set off for Reading straight after work the earliest I could be there is 13.30, discounting traffic on the M25, M2 or M4...

I have never had any issue with the tickets arriving from Reading before, they're usually in the post next day. However, I'm not expecting there to be any tickets left by Wednesday...

Seriously, there'll be loads of tickets availiable for Sunday. You can't get free coach if you book online, so people will be forced to use the premium rate number or queue. Not easy when people have to work. The timing of the game in relation to the previous round has simply meant that it's hard to issue tickets.

The club has offered free travel before. I'm sure the players paid for it.

Fwiw, the club offered free travel to Norwich in 06/07 I think.
