I know what you mean it was great they didn'y play it first time around but when they did play it I didn't care and more so for the 3rd goal. Whether it was quieter I don't know but we just celebrated through it, absolutely crazy celebrations!!

The game against boro I believed 100% that the music did not improve any celebration or atmosphere but it did ruin it a bit. The first goal was mad, mad celebrations everywhere.

The second also before the music kicked in. Much preferred just cheering, especially when watching on tv and hearing it - doesn't sound good.

The atmosphere was so intense on Saturday that I don't think we need it.

C'mon rfc - get rid of it.

This discussion is soooo tiresome. If TH was so awful then why did the vast majority of the crowd respond to it positively? It is painfully clear from the crowd reaction that the objectors are in the minority, it may be a very vocal (on here) minority but it is a minority nonetheless. Just bite the bullet and accept the facts.

No. You could keep on cheering and clapping. Then, if 20k other people joined you the club officials would note that there was no mass response to TH. As it is, the moment it starts the clapping gets in time with the tune, and you can hear about 20k people singing along. The case for the prosecution rests.

ps I don't join in either, I keep cheering and clapping- but as I have said before, it is not up to me to stop everyone else from doing so if they want to.

Yes it's crap, but the fact that the majority of people do join in and seem to enjoy it means it is likely to stay. Wouldn't surprise me if there were some doing the dance after the frist goal even without the music.
