Winston Biscuit
6ft Kerplunk Is Elliott technically just on loan this season so won't be able to play if he hadn't already been dropped recently?

Correct. Loanees cant play against parent clubs.

Thought it was a perm move but checking Wiki I see it isn’t - yet:
On 1 September 2025, Elliott signed for fellow Premier League club Aston Villa on an initial season-long loan with an obligation to buy. It was reported that the agreed permanent transfer would cost £35 million, including sell-on and buy-back clauses

Perhaps Liverpool should have kept Elliott and sent Wirtz to Villa.

Come on m8, it's far too early to say that £120M Wirtz has been a flop

The big price tag leads to high expectations. If you paid £40M for Harry Maguire, for instance, it would have been a good deal

Obviously, he'll bag a hat-trick and Maguire will have a mare (if he plays). May as well get my LOLs in now!

Wolves set to hire Gary O'Neil as their new boss, 11 months after sacking him. :D

I know we all LOLZ about it being a "Merry-go-Round" as the thread title suggests - but it really has become an utter joke in the last few years. Nuno, Postecoglu, Potter, O'Neill, Dyche etc. "The next / last bloke will be better..."

Yup - but for how long? 6 months? 2 months? These owners must love paying managers off.
