The club is a joke so it’s Ian Royal for me.

Managers let go this season that haven't been mentioned so far include (Each manager has a write up):

Micheal Flynn (doesn't look terrible)
Steve Bruce (on a downward spiral)
Darren Ferguson (seems fairly successful)
Derek Adams (career looks to have started well but stalled badly)

Quite a few Americans involved with the club now, i wonder if any of them have connections in the MLS? Couhig mentioned early on in his tenure that he had a shortlist of 3 managers waiting if everything goes pear shaped!
We all pretty much agree Ainsworth would be one one them and possibly Bloomfield but struggling to find a third so maybe could be from the states?

I had thought Wellens was out of reach as we're not really ahead of Orient these days. But they're also struggling this season and it sounds like he may have taken them as far as he can.

If it's possible, it would be a definite yes from me.

Tony Mowbray. Sound as a pound, available and history of getting teams promoted out of this league.

Half Horse I'm sure it will be Bloomfield.

Success at this level.
Previous working relationship with RC and JJ.
Available immediately.
No compensation to pay.

Expect the announcement before Wednesday.

100% this. Going to be one of the shortest who will be new manager threads ever.

Is Carrick still free (yes far too big for us)? Would love him though

Anyone up for a Pauno return? He has recently been sacked by Real Oviedo

Don’t fancy being Ferguson's next failure before ending up back at Posh.

I think what Id like to understand from that link, is how the former Shrewsbury manager stayed in charge for 119 games with a 5% win rate. Unless I'm misreading something.

Michael Flynn has an ok record. Not great at Swindon, but that's a bonus, solid at Cheltenham and great at Newport. Poor ish Walsall.

Start another poll then to assess the level of disappointment (though actually Bloomfield would be my 3rd choice after Wellens and Robbie despite the obvious nepotism).

Bloomfield supposedly being targeted

I mean Wycombe were 6 points ahead of Wrexham in 2nd with 58 points from 28 games when he left

I can understand fans thinking it’s jobs for the boys etc but I can also understand why Couhig would want to put together a manager who he’s known success with

Mowbray would be a good shout. Always liked him. Luke Williams is some Russell Martin wannabe isn’t he? No thanks to that. Wellens and Challinor yes but we won’t get. Carrick same.
