Why are Reading playing at Slough? Most teams in this league play on public parks. Where anyone can watch.

Some do but a lot don’t.
Badshot Lea play at the stadium
Wycombe play at Burnham FC
Oxford City play at the stadium
Beaconsfield play at the stadium.
Playing at Reading City would be ideal but Tilehurst Panthers ground share there currently.

Playing in a 'proper' stadium is likely to be a selling point when trying to recruit decent new players.

Poppy Airey staying on as well for this season. Another positive re-signing that.

The manager has been talking about aiming for promotion, which is a huge departure from being smashed every week last season. Is anyone more in tune with the women's team to say whether this is a reasonable aim or not?
