If the home kit is biscuits...

Does that mean the away kit will be Beer?...

And the third kit Seeds?

Scutterbucketz Yes, think I prefer it with white shorts and socks.

See that's lovely. Chance I'd be a 44 year old full kit w@nker if that were released.

Hendo
Snowflake Royal I think the white shorts and socks means you lose the blue in the pattern personally. But then I'm colourblind

Explains a lot, etc...

It's surprising how much it affects daily life

Agree that the shade of blue on the shirt looks different to the colour of the shorts/socks

Also, read on Twitter earlier that ladies teams prefer dark shorts so they wouldn't have gone with white and guess you want both men's and women's kits the same

I'm not convinced for one moment that the women's team's preferences would dictate what colour shorts the men's club decides on.

There are sound biological reasons why women prefer dark shorts when playing sports...

Yes, I'm not entirely sure anyone needed the reason explained to them, given most of us will be aware of menstruation....! But I'm still extremely unconvinced that the preferences of the women's team (who aren't even part of the official club now) would influence the commercial decisions of the men's team.

Now's the time to change our nickname back to The Biscuitmen. "The Royals" has always been a pretty pathetic nickname.

And the Biscuitwomen?

And the Biscuittheythems?

The non-binary Biscuits

Hound
Hendo Really like it - was prepared for something much worse.

Although would say it would be much better with white shorts and white socks.

Think it needs the contrast with the strong blue, would have looked washed out if it was white socks and shorts

Fully agree and the mockups done with white shorts and socks prove that very point IMO.

Perhaps the shorts should have been completely “paisleyed” too and maybe the shirt trim should be red not dark blue

Absolutely hideous

Who is it at the club that chooses the kit design?

And can someone please tell me just what is wrong with the traditional blue and white hooped kit with WHITE shorts and socks of the early ‘70s???

That may not be far off. I’ve heard it’s a burnt orange/bronze colour.

agreed, 360 degree hoops, white shorts, white socks with two blue hoops halfway down them….perfect.

Sorry to keep banging-on about our opposition fans, but we should be preparing for wolf-whistles and total mirth and derision on the terraces……just got to feel a bit sorry for the players wearing it.

How is the Sun framing this story as an 'exclusive' when all they're doing is collating public social media posts and comments?

Because it's a shitrag with negligible journalistic standards and a well earned reputation for publishing lies and bullshiit.

As a history nerd, I think it’s a fabulous idea if this is the intention, and it very much sounds like it is.
