Four Of Clubs ..... UPDATE and HNY all
Not a great start to the year - Games called off already at : Kidlington, Banbury, Abingdon U and those involving Badshot Lea & Highworth - expect a few more to follow as heavier rain is forecasted for the PM.
Refs: 2nd look at Flackwell deemed the pitch unplayable for the earlier KO vs Aylesbury Utd.
...and Farnham v Moneyfields now OFF

Sutekh Think this is the season it all catches up with Maidenhead. Really can’t keep themselves safe year after year after year after year as amateurs when practically everyone else in the division is professional.
Out of interest are there any professional sides in the NLN and NLS?

Mostly semi-pro but about 4 or 5 professional clubs in each division, normally clubs who have played higher and not switched to semi-pro in a hope to return quickly. So Torquay, Kidderminster, Scunthorpe come to mind.

I think South Shields in NLN are full-time.

….and possibly below that, Dulwich Hamlet in the Isthmian and FC United of Manchester, Macclesfield in the Northern Premier (by default of their attendances).
How on earth can sides below the NL leagues sustain a professional set up? One season that doesn’t pan out as hoped and it must get rather worrying. Really should be some ownership regulations in the NL arena - might make the FL more receptive to additional promotion/relegation places being available too.
