Winston Biscuit **non Europe alert**

3 games left in Brazilian Serie A

:o :o :o

Palmeiras 4-0 America MG
Coritiba 1-1 Botafogo (Botafogo conceded in the 99th minute)
Flamengo 0-3 Atletico Mineiro

Updated league table. In all my 7 days of following this league, I have never seen a team throw it away like Botafogo are right now!

Crikey. That's a title race.

Botafogo haven't won Serie A for 28 years, and were only promoted back to the top division two years ago.

just looked at Botafogo's run of results and in 3 of the last 4 games they have lost the lead in the 99th minute, 90th minute and 96th minute. a club after our own heart!

Noteworthy too that Santos aren't safe yet - the team of Neymar and Robinho and of course Pele. They have never been relegated from the top flight.

Oof! Fairly sure there's a poster on here that supports St Pauli. Hamburg Royal maybe?

Palmeiras have as good as won the league as they are 3 points clear with a better goal diffo of 8 with 1 to play. From what I read though the season will be very much remembered as the one Botofogo threw away, who were 13 points clear at one stage, and have now not won in the last 10 games

Really looking forward to seeing how Endrick does at Real Madrid. He is said to absolutely be the driving force behind Palmeiras season, and is still only 17 years old

34,568 fans attended Barca Vs Atletico, meaning there were 21,000 empty seats, for one of the big fixtures of the season

the temporary move to that stadium obv hasn't helped, but the continuing issue of moving kick off times and having stupid ticket prices continues to be an issue over there

The game was moved to 9pm on Sunday for tv, and tickets were €219 for non members

reading fans complaining on twitter today about it and can see it being said that the recent games of Betis Vs Valencia was £95 and Sevilla Vs Betis was £120

Santos lost again at the weekend, but so did four of the five teams below them. They are probably okay - 17th-placed Bahia play Atletico Mineiro, who still have an outside chance at the title. But not mathematically safe yet.

After the shock result of Saarbrucken knocking Bayern out of the cup a few weeks ago, they've just knocked Frankfurt out in the next round too!

Congrats to Arkadag in winning the Turkmenistan Ýokary Liga!

In their first ever season after being set up last year, overseen by former dictator president who has made the whole national team transfer to them, and in the face of lots of match fixing claims, they have managed to put all that noise aside and focus on the on pitch matters like the professionals they are, winning every single league game this season!

Ironically, Santos have been relegated for the first time in their 111-year history as both Bahia and Vasca da Gama both won. Santos lost to mid-table Fortaleza, who ended the season with three straight wins.

Didn't realise Alfredo Morelos had moved there

The fans have taken relegation well

Saarbrucken actually means "fairytale" in German. And what a fairytale this season is turning out to be for them!

National Anti Doping Prosecutor has requested a 4 year ban for Pogba.

Just read that he has to have a short trial for this, with the guilty verdict meaning he gets the punishment above. Reportedly, If he wanted a plea deal he was meant to have requested it by now, and he hasn't.
