They get at least £400 a game

Hi-ho. What we expected mostly. Better side did win. But so close so a victory there let alone a draw. Without actually playing too cohesively.

We defended fairly well, apart from getting beaten frequently on the flanks.

Too many individuals had off days to really expect much

This is why VAR is required. Sick to death of the refereeing at this level.
Simply not good enough.
Third away game on the trot we have taken the lead but left with nothing. Fuming.

I'm fed up with the awful refereeing standards in this league it's been getting profoundly worse over the last decade. We really need VAR in the championship and we need it now. It's not perfect but I'm fed up with feeling frustrated at least 10-15 matches a season with the officials

We also need to learn to see games out. 3 times leading away in the past 3 matches, we should have taken at least 3-4 points from those and we have none

Every Burnley fan is saying its a stonewall pen. That's a massive error from the ref.

Hate VAR as it utterly ruins a game and half the time you’re left with as much argument as there would be if it wasn’t used. However I find it utterly ****** ludicrous that when you have the technology it’s only allowed to be used by the “big boys”. It’s about time the ****** FL pulled their finger out and at least extended it into division 2/Championship if not all 4 divisions.

Oliver Langford wasn’t a late refereeing change was it?

Yes it's shit but it's better than seeing bad decisions that cost teams promotion and relegation

Gutless is the only word I can think of for that decision, big team at home.

'greed! I rarely celebrate goals as they can always find something if they want to

Something Paul Ince said stuck with me in that he thinks the EFL want us to get relegated. I'm starting to agree with that.

Why is someone from Lancashire allowed to referee the game?

Not sure what was worse, the referee or this insistence on setting up like we are doing away from home. It’s painful and I don’t care if the scoreline is close, defeat is entirely predictable. If Burnley could finish the game would have been over in the first half.

We do need to cut this shit away from home as well. We aren't a good enough side to sit back like that

Apparently, with a reasonable decision for the penalty we would have been exactly good enough

Well yes, but we've thrown away leads 3 times in a row away from home....
