Very good to get in 0-0. Half of two quarters. We started well, pressing high, plenty of the ball, decent play.

Then it seemed to coincide with Lumley smashing one up no where near Meite on his own and suddenly we're deep in ourown half unable to string 3 passes together with no outlet.

Mbengue has been dreadful. Rahman has made two great interceptions but otherwise a bit braindead. Loum and Hendrick are doing pretty well.

Can see why Burnley draw a lot at home. Hugely wasteful. Three or four balls across the box into space crying out for someone to be there. Three or four great chances skied miles.

If we can get back to the first 20 minute performance we're competing. 45 minutes like the last 25 and we've got absolutely no chance.

Someone needs to have a oxf*rd word on throw ins. That's 3 or 4 games in a row with at least 1 probably more foul throws. We've gone half a dozen seasons in a row without a single one before ffs.

We haven’t had many great chances, but we've been a little wasteful when we have had an opportunity to do something.

Not a bad half at all.

I wish Tim and Mick would do a bit of homework on the opposition.
I watched Burnley's game v Norwich the other day and Zaroury was far and away their best player but our commentators describe him more or less as "some bloke on the wing who is a bit quick".

Keep him in check and we have a chance.

Tim regularly complains about not being given paper team sheets.

Just look it up online there's hundreds of ways to do it.

LOve Meite but can't help thinking he's not the outlet we need this game.

Ejaria and Meite off. Ince to sit behind and Long and Carroll on. That'd give us an outlet to worry Burnley. At the moment all we can do is soak up pressure and do nothing about it. A long ball to Carroll and Long will give them something to think about.

Mbengue losing the ball just then might get Ejaria permanently off the hook.

Think Meite’s out there as he’s the quickest but would agree with the change as their presence means more to occupy the Burnley back line.

Meite had really improved his game back to goal. But there's no one near him and none of the balls up are precise.

I don’t think your suggestion will work whilst we're stuck so deep. It just leaves us an extra man short in defence.

We've started as we left off and I haven't seen any sign this season we can change that once we get sucked in. Until we concede at least. So hoping Burnley just stay blunt.

Unless we get some sort of ridiculous route one break and finish. :?

Millsy (definitely wrote this, no retrospective tampering at all) Meite should definitely stay on - he'll probably collect a ball from Lumley and pass it onto Ince to take the lead.

Nah as I say he should stay on.

I can't look past the 2 foul throws tbh.

Ejaria pisses me off because he's talented but misuses that talent so it's ineffective when he could be winning us games.

Mbengue pisses me off because he's playing terribly.

Looks like we have found his new Liam Moore, until Liam Moore starts playing again.
