CountryRoyal Completely lost belief which is disappointing! Outworked by QPR. Shame.

Don’t think that’s true at all. Very even game with one silly piece of play (Hoilett diving in like a nutcase started the problem) the difference

We did pretty well. Lots of fight and effort just a bit of a lack of quality. But when you’ve a team of freebies that’s no surprise

We were second best to loads of balls we shouldn’t have been. It was only even in score, Lumley had to pull off several really smart saves and they should have had a stonewall pen.

Deservedly beat.

Didn't do enough ultimately tonight. Rode our luck on one or two occasions so no massive surprise we've been beaten.

Even when we took the game to them in the first 15-20 minutes of the second half, did we even test their goalkeeper? Remember the ball breaking Ejaria's way at one stage and a couple of moments when the ball was in the box and bouncing but didn't really create anything.

We really need to be using Meite when and where possible, especially when chasing games.

Ultimately, didn't play too badly, just beaten by a side who probably deserved it as they created a few more chances than what we did. Just didn't do enough in the attacking areas.

Now 4th

Can only sink to 5th if Burnley win at Coventry tomorrow

Swansea home to Sunderland tomorrow.

Might be 6th by next Saturday as Blackburn play at home to Rotherham tomorrow and then are at Wigan on Tuesday.

Brogue Fcuk me what a bunch of drama queens you lot are. We played alright. QPR will be up there this season.

I don`t see anyone crying, rangers were deserved winners on the night, we just weren`t good enough.

Wouldn’t really argue they deserved to win just about, but we did ok. But they’re equal top of the table, just beat sheff utd and had home advantage

We did fine. Just not quite good enough

Oh well. 8 more wins this season and we should be safe. That was the real target. Being up there has been fun for a bit.

Yeah I think everyone is pretty magnanimous. We were deservedly beaten, no shame in that! We weren’t at our best but I thought QPR played well.

Hardly a disaster, we've lost one game where we played pretty well but lacked quality in the final third. It's not like our away record is particularly fantastic despite our position.

Just got to concentrate on the home games and keep the points ticking over there. If we get can to 35 points by the halfway stage, I'm very confident we survive.

Didn’t watch sheff utd but thought rangers were the best I’ve seen this season otherwise

And we could have got something there. Nothing to fear in this division, we should be aiming for top half min

Disappointed but not disheartened.

I know we've got a hard run of games in the next month, purely from the volume of games, but looking a bit ahead, we will have played everyone once by Christmas. In the second half of the season, we play Norwich, QPR, Sheffield Utd and Swansea, 4 of the current top 6 in the first 6 games. We then have Watford 7th game. That's a lot of the potentially difficult games out of the way early doors. I know it doesnt always work out like that but, on paper, our run of fixtures looks pretty kind from the second week of February to the end of the season.

Hardly say I fear Swansea (in either game) or any team at home. Watford and Norwich away I'm expecting defeat, but all the rest we can quite comfortably pick up points in. Seen enough to know we are capable of hurting teams and beating them.

Just need to do a little bit more in front of goal than we did tonight.

Mate, we are sitting in 4th place, we need 28 points from 33 games to get 50 pts, 0.84 ppg. we lost tonight but talk of us surviving is just so wrong.
Of course we won't be top six, but I wouldn't expect us to near the bottom either. 7 wins and a few draws should do it.

Please remember that finishing in the top 10 this season would be a ridiculous achievement.

Well that was a bit shit. Thought we were outfought and tactically outsmarted, especially 2nd half. Can't play well every game, credit to QPR who stopped us playing.

All I'm saying is let's not go all knee jerk if we hit a sticky run, either in the next 4 weeks where we have 2 games a week, or in December-January where we have a run of more difficult fixtures. We've shown more than enough to suggest we can have a relatively drama free season.

In some ways playing AC blunts us a bit, they doubled up on him and we relied too much on the long ball, we need a plan B. Joao not for the first time this season was poor, Meite needs to given a chance.

QPR showed (like we have) that you don't need a lot of quality to be near the top. Good work ethic, tactics and management can get you up there. They've had a great week to be fair to them, 3 straight wins.

Frustrating tonight. We weren't completely at it, the moment they changed to 3 centre backs to match our formation and they were all over us really. Onwards and upwards and let's beat West Brom next week.

Haven't seen the game but some of the comments on here seem harsh.
Narrowly beaten away from home by a team flying.

We have a week off now to prepare for WBA. Was the Hutchinson injury bad?
