Looks like being 3 from the current bottom 4 now but if (and its a big if) Watford and Burnley win their games in hand that gap starts to look big.

Coutinho close to joining Villa on loan. Decent signing that for Villa. Gerrard must've had a little bit of a pull, due to their playing time together.

Big pull you'd think. He's still only 29, so hopefully can show some of the form he showed at Liverpool. Do worry he'll go the way of James Rodriguez, but at least he's got plenty of Premier League experience already.

Very good bit of business by Villa. Think they would be mad not to pick up the "to buy" option if he does well. Could really be a game changer for them and push them up the table into the European mix.

Yup. I wonder where this leaves Buendia. He's hardly set the world alight for them.

Pepe the Horseman £33m.

So Barca only drop £107m on his deal

Unless the original quoted figure was euros

According to the Liverpool Echo the basic fee was £106M with an extra £36M in add ons, and so far Liverpool have received £138M for him as the majority of the add on was made up of a number of £4.2M payments per 15 games

18 year old American centre forward Ricardo Pepi moves from FC Dallas to Augsberg for $20M which is a record for an MLS player

Been hearing that he is very much one to watch and many better clubs were in for him but Augsberg, with an American owner, threw way more money at this than the others as they were desperate to get someone who is considered the future of the American HollerWhoops Soccer All Stars

Newcastle trigger Chris Wood's release clause. Bet Dyche is livid.

He'll get them a few goals though. In the Championship next season.

It is up there with the worst transfer deals in living memory. I was laughed at for suggesting that Newcastle have a look at Ben Brereton-Diaz, in comparison to Chris Wood he is a world beater.
