More than happy to be proved otherwise, but that's the best half of football I've seen from Reading since Coppell.

Exception being first half League Cup v Arsenal in the 5-7

AthleticoSpizz (@Aluko) Great defensive work on the left flank when we needed it....put in a decent ball (or two) up front.

At least one poster will defer otherwise

He was excellent.

This might sound crazy to some but if we don't get promoted, I'd be happy with Aluko getting another 2 year contract, on reduced terms of course.

Every fans dream playing for the team they support. Tom Holmes and Tom McIntyre are living it out. They leave everything on the pitch. It’s really quite unique what’s happening with their incredible performances in our back 4.

Recruiting a relatively young coaching set up of Pauno, Mitrovic, Fortune and O’Shea has been a masterstroke. The players have completely bought in to the way they want to play, set pieces straight from the training ground etc. They are all great role models with experience at the highest level.

To think we have Moore and Puscas returning too. Pinch me.

CountryRoyal Interesting to hear what Pauno says about keeping injured players involved; like Puscas doing a little speech.

I like that.

Yeh me too

Think the squad have a lot of time for him

That's excellent management.

Also appointing Moore, Morrison, Rafael and now Joao as 'Black Belts'. They are players who can take criticism and pressure who are tasked to mentor and develop the younger, less experienced players 'Blue and Yellow Belts' and keep their feet on the ground. Moore said VP is very good at the psychological side of the game.

Quite* enjoyed that match....but Steve demanded to go out pretty much as soon as the whistle went...Who got MOTM? I couldn't decide between TMac or Josh. I suspect TMac edged it...

John Madejski's Wallet I thought that was all Semedo's fault

It's him it would have hit if he didn't turn like a massive fukking girl

50 / 50. Joao can't break contact. If he stays the gap isn't big enough even with Semedo being a wimp.

How can anyone blame Semedo for that? Joao got so far out of the way you’d think he planned it with Bournemouth.

Morrison and Rafael seemed pretty sure that Semedo was equally to blame (Aluko and Rinomhota could be seen having a go at Joao for his part in it).

Norwich messageboard poster referencing Ovie’s eye injury saying Stacey waiting until he got close enough before sticking his finger into his eye. Hope he’s ok.

Stacey should get some retrospectives for that.

Don Goodman was pretty critical of the fouls Bournemouth were committing. No eyes on the ball for plenty of headers. I’m not sure Stacey’s will get pulled up though.

I don't think it's possible to prove Stacey intended it.

Goodman? Was that on Sky? If so, I think it was Andy Hinchliffe (Goodman didn't play as a left back) but that was the point he repeatedly made.

Hinchliffe seems to have quite a soft spot for us - less so, Goodman!

Intent? There was certainly no need to have done it....not even a card?

Yep it was hinchcliffe, and agreed he talked very well about us. Made for a nice change.
