Hound Oh no, we were horrible that night

I think the midfield boys genuinely pushed forward in that last 25 - but a combination of blunt attack and good defence kept us causing a lot of problems

Our best spell of the match positionally was probably that last 20

It’s why I’m not too much of a fan of 5 at the back in general though, I really think it stifles creativity against any good team and on occasions like today, although the attack was blunt, they’re hardly blessed with options on the ball. Supporting this point:

Preston - we created nothing really
Leeds - only from set pieces
Brentford - little created

So, yeah, it might work against your teams like Millwall and Luton because your wingbacks and midfield can play higher up but against teams in higher positions, there’s a real lack of attacking play. IMO

I really don’t want another “no plan B” syndrome manager though. Throw Morrison, Miazga up top, lump it to them. What were we doing? Lumping it to Loader who’s quite frankly terrible

I'm more convinced than ever that Puscas is a dud. There is nothing in his game that makes me think he is of any use to this club. Had the Leeds chance for the goal fallen to him he would have been 3yards being it and never reached it. Who the hell thought he was a good signing, he is so slow.

Thought we were unlucky tonight, especially with the deflection on the cross but the clear superior tactics paid off for them. Bielsa loves using the width and they were starting to pull us apart down the middle. I really can't cope with Liverpool winning the league and them going up. The footballing gods hate me.

If a club offers us a big wedge of money for Puscas in January I am of the opinion we should sell.

Hound That Ben White chap was absolutely quality for them

I’m confused why he is at Leeds and Brighton are playing the woeful Dan Burn instead

Looks an international quality player to me

100% agree. What a player.

Looked excellent, as did all of the Leeds players to be fair.

They looked ok. Solid at the back, lack of any invention up front. Phillips was disappointing, and Ejaria had him on toast a couple of times.

What they did very well was keep going, and showing belief. No Preston style diving and time wasting. Biesla is obviously a very good manager and his subs made a big impact

Funnily enough, based on my twitter interactions last night, a fair amount of Leeds fans agree re invention up front. I said I thought they looked desperate up front. Really good at build up play, not great with a final ball and shit at finishing.

Best right back in the league got done by a Sunday league player (according to some of our fans) and had to clothes line him to stop him getting past him.

It felt to me that they needed the sort of luck they got with the deflection on the cross. It really couldn't have fallen any better for them, looping over the keeper like that.

Other than that they really only had one or maybe two chances - both the close range Dallas shots. The one off the crossbar was a decent effort, but obvs long range. Considering the amount of ball they had, that would be disappointing for them

I'm genuinely not, he is the best right back in the league. Max Aarons was last season and now Norwich have gone up it has to be Ayling.

Not sure what that proves, listen to the real experts maybe? Acknowledge you aren't the expert for once. Try and be humble if you can.

I would like to come out in defence of Puscas, he as shown on occasions that he is a quality finisher, but its just not happening yet, Bowen quite rightly pointed out that he is still very young and adapting to life in the championship.
He hasn`t pulled up any trees yet but there is talent in there, all this sell in January is hogwash, the owners will never do that.

I'm not proposing anyone to be honest, I don't watch enough of other teams to know who is the best right back in the league.

Was merely pointing out how, statistically there is a better right back in the league.

Also, there is a noticeable lack of Leeds players in that team, the only one included is Phillips, who is very good and if Leeds don't go up this year, I would've thought he'd get a move to the Prem.
