CCLP
CCLP Prem S-FWorcester Park	3-2	Sutton Common Rovers - Div One runaway leaders advance past SCR (currently 3rd in the Premier) to face Knaphill in the Final - odd thing is that WP are in the Div One competition S-F too - so could feasibly win a treble and then very possibly drop back to the Surrey County Leagues. They cannot develop their Skinners Field ground to have STEP05 grading - which may become compulsory for CCL clubs in 18-19 or soon after. Nor would they benefit from arranging a g/share - even if they wanted to go up - as I believe there are no prospects of ever upgrading, unless the current owners (probably the Social Club) change their long-standing opposition. rare win for the JamBoys against one of the divisions’ form sides...got the idea that yesterday was NOT a day to venture out on M'ways - appeared to be 'hot spots' everywhere - left it later than usual, then headed out cross-country, down through Surrey and just over the 'border' into into North Sussex for :
Southern Combination Premier (STEP05 formerly known as the Sussex County League) Loxwood 2-1 Hassocks - down some windy 'A' roads south of Guildford, Loxwood is set amongst the remains of a Pine forest (as the name suggest)
Got a 'new tick', a decent pint, a badge and a programme and the game wasn't that bad either.
