strap Noticed that the U21's played 4-4-2 again tonight, as they did at Colchester in their first FLT match.
Seems odd when the arrogant Dutch tw@t can't bring himself to pick ONE forward for the 1st XI.
Last season in the 5 FLT games played, they played 4-2-3-1. Although given this season we are faring worse in the FLT with 2 strikers, I suppose that does lend a degree of credence to playing 1 striker!!

Hound Arrogant Dutch Tw@t. Really?
Get you don't like him but deserves a bit more respect than that

Exactly.
And the answer to the utterly daft question from the OP is because it's a different team with a different manager.

genome This is what I hate most about poor runs of form - not the players, not the manager, but the fans using it to have a pop at every little tiny thing the club does

So do I - hence "hate most"

Hound I did find it interesting that this year we have gone very much with an U21 side, whereas last year, if I recall we were playing the likes of Anssi, Mendes and other fringe players
Don't think there was a rule change or anything, just a choice. However may be wrong on that
Actually surprises me if we could play the likes of Evans, as they'd have benefitted from the games

I'd expect our U21s to be playing in a similar way to the senior team to prepare to move up.

Seriously - TINY? Playing without a striker and averaging one attempt on target - TINY?? Oh please.
