Voted Villa. It was so unexpected.

RG30 Not that I went but Aston Villa away will take some beating given the dreadful result the week before and the added pressure of everyone playing Good Friday. Villa themselves weren't in bad home IIRC.

Think they were unbeaten in 9 having conceded 1 goal or something like that.

A the time I think it was 5 successive home wins with no goals conceded.

Brighton at home.

There are so many great candidates for this - Sheff Wed (A) and Villa (A) obviously stand out in particular - but the game against Brighton early in the season was when we knew we had a team that could actually do something this season, after three years of let-downs. Added to which Brighton were flying high at the time, though of course we all knew they would eventually implode.

Anyone voting for Bristol City away needs their head checking.

The excitement of the final 20 minutes was good, but performance of the season it was not.

N'cassle at home was one of the finest 0-0's that I have ever witnessed.
