Can this also apply to Sloop John B. please?

Horrific, cringe, stolen and dated.

We did the Iceland chant? I remember us doing a slow clap that gradually got faster but that was when the Brum player who was getting subbed off was taking an age to get off the pitch.

I was in Y25 and a few of us thought it was that. I know we did it at Cardiff though

+1 to doing it for the sub taking an age to leave the pitch

100% slow handclaps for the slow meander off the pitch for all 3 subs
I looked round angrily looking for Icelandic spazzclappers, but there were precisely zero

It was a slow clap, although I saw at least one person in the Eamon Dolan stand join in clapping with their arms above their head

Maybe if we still had Icelandic players such as Gylfi, Bryn and Ivar it would go down well as a tribute to them, but we don't so let's not.

It would have been great if we had invented it though.

We didnt/arent

Clapping above ur head isnt the Iceland thing.
Whixh involved holding arms out first, and going ooo with the clap.

Even at Cardiff I thought they were ironically doing it to the Cardiff fans who had done it in earnest earlier in the game

Poor lad. The last thing you need after getting your appendix out is being on fire.

The Iceland clap wasn't even started by the Iceland fans. They nicked it off some Scottish team.
There is nothing original - as every set of fans that come to the Madejski demonstrate.

I may be wrong but I can't remember other teams singing the 'We're not Real Madrid...' song.

I liked Birmingham's "You are wankers" chant

Blunt but effective banter
