Potentially I'd add Tanner to that list and also Evans was clearly bought with an eye to this season as well although on the flipside I doubt all 3 of Williams, Norwood and Gunter will be with us come the opening day.

I think the key is for Stam to have a few weeks to assess which youngsters are ready for the first team and then hopefully be given the backing to fill in the gaps so to speak with more proven senior signings.

Part of me thinks that there will be 2-3 signings announced on the one day any everyone can stop panicking. Reading twatter today and people are saying we are dead set for a relegation battle. But we say that most summers until we actually bring in a few players.

I'm distinctly underwhelmed. I don't think any of those strikers are odds-on for ten goals, and we've only got one senior winger plus a few fill-ins. We've only got ten players who are proven at this level. If all the kids come good or we add a couple of players then we could fly, but right now the squad looks like it needs five or six additions to make it into a playoff side.

I dislike when people put the same player in 2 positions when doing one of these posts. I understand you're simply trying to emphasize they may well cover that position but it looks messy so -1 point for me.

Also you separated the left sided fullbacks from the right sided ones but lumped all the wingers/advanced midfielders/forwards into one column. That may have been to emphasize the lack of them but you left out Hurtado so another -1 point.
