Would be worth a punt getting him back as defensive coach. At least we knew how to defend when he was here. We also had a bit more grit and pride in the way we played.

Will Reid stay or will he begone in a summer reshuffle?

Reid is a difficult one to gauge. I don't know enough about him really.

I can only judge him on the way the team play - they like to play nice football but lack determination to go the extra yard, fight for every ball and rise above themselves. For me, that attitude boils down to the coaching and RFC are clearly lacking in all of those.

Remember Pardew and Martin Allen with their slogan: 'Tenacity, Spirit, Flair'.
Of all of our squad, I would say that currently only Aaron Tshibola displays those qualities every time he plays.
Deniss Rakels might have them but we need to see more of him. Stephen Quinn has the first two but has no flair.
The rest of the players seem to struggle to consistently bring just one of those qualities to the pitch on match day.
