I honestly hope that I am proved wrong but I am not convinced that he is the man to mould together a team and help it find it's identity.

I know he has been one of our most successful managers in the past but were most of the foundations already put in place by Pardew and Coppell? Now that he is back it's only fair to give him time to bring in his own players.

I just worry that the Championship is getting stronger and stronger and if he gets it wrong, league 1 here we come.

No. After the 2008/9 season the core of Coppell's team was broken up and even further changed by Rodgers. In fact, Brian did very well considering the state of the club after Brendan left.
