Pepe the Horseman Thought we played well. Forest scored with their first attack of the game. Kermorgant should have had a hat trick. Obita class first half. Brilliant finish from Vydra. Great winner from Norwood.

Ian Royal Norwood screamer - Vydra claiming a touch.

1-1. oxf*rd you 2ww1wc

Was that how Dellor described it?

It was quite a deflection off Vydra's back/arse on a decent Norwood strike that, from my angle at least, looked like it was going wide.

To be fair to Dellor he's on the other side of the stadium so it might not have looked quite so obvious.

As for 2ww1wc view that we weren't playing well, to be honest I'm a bit lost for words. We absolutely dominated a very poor Forest side and could easily have won that by 3 or 4. Forest were that bad be essentially played 2 at the back. Norwood and Obita were outstanding with Quinn and McShane not far behind.

All over them. Some absolutely stunning football at times.
Xhronic lack of goalscoring touch.

Thought piazon had a
great first half.
Quinn also excellent.
Williams decent,
Mcshane, standard, solid.
Cox again excellent if not threatening.
obita mixed(gr8 going forward, outpaced at the back and lucky to escape with no booking fir continually grabbing olayers as they waltzed past him.) Norwood mixed, but grabbed game by the scruff. And the good outweighed the bad by some way in the end.)

Kermo OK, apart from cant score.
John was appalling when he came on.

Pleased with result and performance

Enjoyable game. Stunned that we were 1-0 down at half time after dominating although if we carried on playing like we did, there was always going to be more chances. Forest were poor but should really have made it 0-2 midway through the 2nd half.

Pleased for Vydra, no doubt people will say he didn't mean the goal but having watched it back, 100% believe he meant it. Thought Piazon was excellent in the first half and did an amazing bit of tracking back to cover for Obita who I also thought looked lively. Everyone else had good solid games apart from John when he came on who couldn't seem to pass to anyone or go past his man. Still unbeaten in the league at home in 2016, which is something to build on.

Quote enjoyed that tbh. Some very good football at times

Thought everyone was pretty decent.....apart from Williams, who had a stinker Imo
Cox is a really dull journeyman, but he puts in a shift.

You're a referee, aren't you? A few players from a "big" club complain and you think they must be right.

In the real world, Vydra was clearly outside the 6-yard box whilst one or two defenders plus the keeper were inside, so it wasn't even close to being offside.

Yeh just seen a replay and he was well on. My automatic reaction when we score is to assume there was some kind of infringement and it's been disallowed. I didn't celebrate the winner because I thought it had bounced out.

Vydra was onside, his touch changed the direction of the ball, it looked like it might have been going wide otherwise, so it's certainly his goal.

The way he celebrated makes me think he probably meant it, but in real time, it all happened so quickly, it was hard to tell.

Replay looks like he threw himself at it, but it's a very quick replay so can't be sure.

Notts Forest were the worst side I have seen this season. Mind you their formation playing one up front just played into our hands. Our full backs had plenty of the ball in attacking positions and put in some good crosses. Both had good games especially Obita
To be honest 2-1 flattered them

I think with a decent centre forward we would have had a hat full this evening.
Our finishing in the last two games has been abysmal

Thank fcuk Norwood had his shooting boots on.

I see Vydra claimed that goal :?:  REALLY!

As he scored it, I think that's his right.

It's nothing to do with waiting for a transplant you absolute helmet. It's a play on words on the username. Try reading.

Only someone completely unhinged would have read that in anyway differently and then send threatening messages on the back of it.

Norwood shot was going wide. Ball directed in by Vydra, not even close to being offside and clearly his goal.

2 world wars, 1 world cup My wife and I were both surprised when I laughed with joy when their goal went in.

Now I'm not so surprised.

I'd rather lose this game 10-0 than a last minute equaliser paper over the cracks.

We're shit. We may as well get the scoreline we deserve.

Are you watching a different game? In the one I saw we outplayed Forest for 90 minutes and put in a pretty good performance all round.

I was well behind it and it's Vydra's goal. It took it past the keeper.

Am I right in thinking we are mathematically safe if we better MK Dons' result on Saturday?

Actually it looks like we need to win and MK Dons have to draw or lose, then we are mathematically safe. So we can't draw and be safe if MK Dons lose as they will still be able to equal our 52 points. By some miracle, of course.
