4,3,2,2,2,1,1,1,1,1 (18 Against) SC
if this was a graph it would say that steve Clarke had nearly sorted the defence out when he was sacked

Platypuss Who's the more tedious - the trolls or the people who can't resist feeding them?

Thanks Obi-wan

The trolls, always the trolls. But there's not a lot in it.

I think the club ramped up expectations in the summer, after all best ever squad was being touted here.
Brian has lowered expectations, to a realistic level.
We are having a decent run in the cup, and look safe from relegation.

That will do for now.

Snowball136 SC’s last 10 games

W1 D3 L6 10-18. Zero clean sheets

Conceded 4, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1

You sure about that?

I make it W3, D3, L3, F12, A15, 2 clean sheets

You wouldn't be counting Kuhl's games in charge as under Clarke by any chance?

Tsk tsk tsk. Accuracy of data snowy. Not like you to pick the most favourable sample to your argument either.

Doesn't matter as it's not correct.

Should McD take a portion of the blame for Tshibola's injury?

He should have just given him a run out instead of starting him when he didn't need to and he wasn't ready, pretty basic stuff tbh.

I just took the last ten games before McDermott started. They were still SC's team

Ian, I know you just love to find fault for the sake of it

Try looking at the data I posted as

10 games before McDermott
10 games after McDermott

it's not difficult

The thread is not a question saying "compared with SC"

It asks "How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?"

so therefore an exact McD's ten game versus the ten before he arrived... and when it's 12 for McD we can compare the 12 B4

It ain't rocket science

Or are you saying we should TAKE OUT the interim manager's games, or multiply them by .835, or what?

I think he may have been toying with the idea of an out and out DM for Ipswich...

No need for a full on flid attack snowy. It's not my fault you can't get your data right / present it properly.

And you lose. What's more, you probably don't even realise why.

Never when communicating with you snowy. Sorry, you're too old, wrong gender, too crazy and too boring to get my juices flowing. I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you and say we can never be together.

Williams is far better in an offensive role.

You seem to be finding it difficult. You pitched your results as Steve Clarkes last 10 games. They weren't. Ian has evey right to point this out.

I think it's a shame that we're losing our strong off the ball play and neat tidy passing. It looked like we were starting to make some really good progress.

I worry what will happen when we lose Vydra as he seems to be involved in the majority of our creative moves.

All in all I guess it's worth it if results pick up, but with these bizarre signings and players being frozen out, can't help but wonder if something is not right behind the scenes.
