Snowball136 So Kitson, Doyle, Long, Siggy, Mills, Blackman, Sa, Lita, Morrison, Sidwell, Harper, Hunt, Kebe, Federici, McCarthy, Roseinior,

So 16 out, say drop a league every four players

So we are in what league, again?

If, overall, we make profit from the ins and outs, how is that bad?

Anyway, Snowball, you perfectly illustrate my point. Letting go of the likes of Kitson, Doyle, Sidwell, Harper etc. Resulted in a weaker team that didn't achieve the highs that we achieved when those lads were there.

There comes a point when you can't keep losing good players. If Williams goes as well then I feel we have lost three quality members of the squad in a very short space of time which means we are definitely coming out the window a lot weaker than before. We definitely then have to write this season off. McDermott will have a lot of work to do in the summer to make us strong again.

when you are relegated, you need to get rid of your highest paid players. these are usually your best ones.
there comes a point when you just cant afford them any more

I don't think Williams is really a Swansea player. Norwood is both a better player and better suited to their style of play.

He generally plays well from December to March but disappoints the rest of the time, a bit like Le Fondre. I think selling him in January makes sense.

In his current form, Williams is rightly in the team, but with everyone fit and playing at their best, imo he wouldn't be even if we played with three in midfield. Norwood, Tshibola and Quinn are better players, and Evans, Fernandez and Kuhl are perfectly capable reserves.

Like Blackman, he's one we could afford to let go without noticing a decline in standards on the pitch.

How much do we think the loss of our two main goal scoring threats had in the 5-2 defeat of Huddersfield and the 4-0 win over Walsall ?
So far I'm not sure we're really missing them.
The williams rumour doesn't seen a very strong one, but I actually think we'd miss him more than the other two. I like his attitude, he seems the heartbeat of the team and while I agree others are technically better there is something about Williams that is good.

I don't think he's good enough for Swansea .... but I'd be sad to see him go.

Maneki Neko I like Williams, but hes not brilliant or anything.if we have to let him go,before he goes for free, at least its to a decent team, for a decent price.

We can't keep saying, every time we are about to lose a quality first team player something along the lines of what you just said above.... If we keep letting go of these types of players we'll be in League One in no time at all. This kind of thing is what we said when Blackman went, when Sa went, when Hurtado went....

At some point we got to say, ENOUGH. Williams you ain't going nowhere mate. You play for Reading.... Hammond stop selling our star players.

Letting go of one or two. Fine. But that's enough now. Williams is too important to lose.

No one is irreplaceable. Neither Blackman, nor Sa were a huge loss. Hurtado was no loss at all & LOLLY at including him in an argument about losing our star players. Actually, LOLLY at including Sa. With Norwood, Tshibola, Quinn, Evans, Fernandez(?) and Kuhl all still at the club Williams also isn't a huge loss, good as he is. I'm not sure he's a great fit for the way it looks Brian wants to play. I'd prefer him to stay, but we're hardly going to go into free fall without him.

Wouldn't mind if he moved on in the summer.

He's a decent player but he often gets caught out of position, runs down too many blind alleys and his passing isn't good enough. He looked better against Walsall when playing off Vydra, mainly because when he went chasing the ball down he wasn't leaving a massive gap in the midfield.

I'm sure Evans will have adapted to the Championship by next season and he'll give us a much more solid midfield alongside Tshibola.

This season I just want over asap. Couldn't care less who leaves in the summer, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. The whole squad needs transforming with "Brian" type players (presuming he's allowed to manage and not just have to deal with Thai whims).

Looking forward to a settled season next time with a top 10 challenge and some promise for the future.

Get rid. Has to run half of his passes as his touch is so abysmal.

*looks up, sees pass to wing* *next touch takes him half way there by accident* *now a non incisive short pass to a marked player*

All too often. Top trier though.
