http://hoofoot.com/?match=Reading_0_-_1_QPR_2015_12_03 - 1.39 onwards. Couldn't have had a clearer view. One of the worst mistakes by a Reading keeper I've ever seen.

Don Goodman, who I usually have a problem with being very anti-Reading, was actually being kind...

"Al-Habsi will be very dissapointed with that"

Whereas what it really warranted was something along the lines of

"What has he done?! ALI AL HABSI WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? That's so criminal it's worth bringing back capital punishment. Disgraceful"

I would have been ok with that tbh.

That's actually 10 times worse than I thought, and I thought it was awful.

Hope someone is checking for unusual betting patterns and cash payments to Al-Habsi

Human error...it happens....ok, maybe more than once or twice this season....but

.....just a mere two goals scored.....and it wouldn't have mattered

Would the 0-0 scoreline and the massive 1 point had saved Steve C his job anyway?

It certainly wouldn't have pacified the deserning posters on here.

Goalkeepers are the all too easy targets.....and yes...we've been spoilt over the past 13 years

You are right - after about 88 minutes of that turgid, ineffective shyte I turned to my son and said 'To be honest, I'm almost hoping QPR score now as it might mean that Clarke gets sacked'.

So thank you Ali. However, now we've achieved that objective, will you please sort out your act PDQ.

Watched Bond in the warm-up, he was hopeless. Stick with Al-Habsi please.

If both Al-Habsi and Bond were to get 'injured' are we allowed to sign an emergency keeper?

It wouldn't make Federici's top 10.

How on earth did Dropsi allow that ball to get past him? Looks like he's playing pat a cake with the bloody thing. When our new gaffer comes in, surely this is a position that needs to be addressed as a matter of priority. James Bond is up and coming but if we're looking to get close to the play offs, a new No 1 surely has to be a requisite of the new order. Fancy getting your gloves on again Squeaky?

I genuinely think that's way worse than Federici's Wembley howler, or his Premier League failures against Chelsea and Stoke. I think it may be the worst keeping error I've ever seen. I mean he doesn't even have to get down to it.

The Wembley oxf*rd off was basically like the FA cup one at west brom - the 2-3 when Gylfi scored the worldy in ET.

Whilst Federici was prone to the howler now and then, as was McCarthy with his distribution, both could be excused as their ratio of fcuk ups to positive contributions were pretty good. Both were excellent shot stoppers, arguably the best in the league when they played. They had their insecurities with coming for crosses and such, all keepers have weeknesses, (they aren't oxf*rd de gea, Cech or neuer) but I still felt for the most part they were solid enough and did more right than wrong, by some margin too.

Al-Habsi on the other hand makes so many mistakes in every god damn area. I've never seen a keeper for us make so many howlers in the same amount of performances. His fcuk up to positive goal keeping contribution ratio must be one of the worst.

It's because I am loyal to the club and team that I wanted that failing snake out of the club asap. One point dropped v QPR (we were never going to get three in that game) is a good investment to achieve that objective now rather than later. It will quickly pay off many times.

The difference is that Al-Habsi failed to save a ball that was going past him with a bit of pace at the end of a shit game where neither team deserved a point, whereas Federici practically threw the ball into the net against Arsenal at Wembley in a cup semi-final that we were doing well in.

Have you watched the replay? It wasn't going past him and there was no pace. Worse that Fed's FA Cup blunder by a mile.
