Winston Smith Pedro to Chelsea - €30M

As it looks like Utd have lost out they've made a bid for Mane from S'oton

Pedro confirmed. Sky reckon the price is less than £20mil.

Chelsea did that to Tottenham with Willian. They sure know how to piss everybody off as a club.

I actually quite like Pedro and can see him doing well in the PL.

looks like Nolito is on his way back to Barcelona to replace Pedro. Very decent player tbf.

Apparently wages the problem in the Gray deal. Problem with putting in large bids, is the player and his agent will expect decent wages to follow. Can only assume they offered Gray similar to what he was offering or an increase that meant he couldn't see the point of leaving London to play for a club in the same division.

Wow, the transfer fees some clubs are paying this season in the Championship are scarily high.

In 5 years, we'll be hearing of players being exchanged for £20m

Pogba to Chelsea and Neymar to Man Utd. Footballing world gone crazy.

Piss myself if United deal falls through and they end up with Mane.

There's no way Neymar is going to Man Utd, they are the club agents get their players linked to if they want to get their player paid more. They're a slightly less shit version of Liverpool these days...

No guarantee, because the manager rarely makes these decisions at Madrid.

Neymar won't go to United because he has Nike commitments and that suits Barcelona right down to the ground.

West Brom have rejected a tranny request from Berahino. Can't see this ending well.

Fwiw I completely agree with Koeman and Martinez and a few others that the transfer window should be closed before the first league game of the season. Ridiculous state of affairs. I hope Everton (Stones) and West Brom hold firm on these two.

I totally agree it's a bit of a daft situation but unless all the European leagues kick off on the same date how are they going to align the window to the start of the season?
