How can comments and actions like those of Mourinho inspire loyalty in others? Comments addressed to all and sundry about two important members of the Chelsea team are nothing but negative. One wonders what would transpire if one or more players criticised Mourinho publicly.

Jose would get JT to 'have a word', the player would miss a few games with a mystery 'injury' then find himself out on loan in Ajerbaijan for the rest of the season before being sold back to the club he came from.

No Fixed Abode Well - it's a bit OTT to describe Mourinho as that. ISIS are despicable human beings.

There is a World outside foootball for most people. Some people take it way too seriously. You only have to look on here when people start throwing personal insults around.

So Mourinho has thrown an employee under a bus when talking to the national media because her doing her duty as a medical professional left Chelsea down an extra man for a few seconds, resulting her demotion, her being discussed on the back pages of every newspaper in the country and, I'd imagine, a significant amount of personal distress.

And you reckon it's the people calling that behaviour out who are too focussed on the importance of football?

Ouroboros meltdown.

You couldn't answer the point though!

Any guesses who will carry the can for this one? The kitman, perhaps? The merchandising team?

Stranded You have to give him credit as a bit of an evil genius - Chelsea looked ponderous and poor in places on Saturday and despite their performance due to Mourihno's comments, yet again absolutely nobody is focusing on this fact.

This in turn gives them time to sort out this issues on the playing side without anyone really paying attention. The Dr and physio will serve a "one game ban" and be back on the bench by the following weekend.

Not sure he is in this situation. He's alright when it's "us against the world" like when he has a go at the opposition or UEFA but when it's "us against us" and he's attacking his own staff he has potential to disrupt his club and the people he works with. Guess the proof on whether it's worked will be after the City match.

I'd say it didn't work.

He's right though, the scoreline flatters Chelsea.

Chelsea make a substitution as they're about to defend a corner and promptly concede a goal, that's a pretty basic mistake to make and shows a real lack of understanding about the game.

Good job Mourinho played down the importance of the game beforehand. Obviously the classless twat will get it sorted sooner or later and still make the top 4, but it's pleasant watching him flail and fail at least for the first two games. Hopefully more.

6 shots on target in 2 games.

2 shocking performances happening this early in the season may end up helping a little as there is time left, and now good reason, to throw some money around.

Defeat to Arsenal in the Community shield, at home to Fiorentina in a friendly, an uninspiring draw vs Swansea and now this. Not gr8 at all.

Agreed BF. Although don't write us off. It will be an interesting season as it looks like we'll have to play catch up instead of leading from the front. I wasn't convinced by our pre-season prep this year and it's showing. I think we'll pick up momentum soon.

However, quite surprised by some of the reaction on here. I was sure people would have been routing for Chelsea yesterday as they have been the poor relation to City in terms of spending over the last few years.

Chelsea will still be up there - however you've got to give City credit for the way they played yesterday, they looked sharper, faster and more organised. I don't think Costa is fully fit which doesn't help when he is the only outlet - Fabregas had a shocker and Hazard was kept quiet - sometimes the better team wins.
