Seriously, I think with one player of that power this season and we'd've been top six.

Goals breed confidence, but we lack real power/speed up front.


I suppose a CB who's clearly better than any of the current CBs
would be a big step up. Pearce-Hector fighting over second with Coops 4th
would be a very strong Championship CB set up


A goal-scoring LW (like RW Kebe at his best) would be nice, or maybe just re-galvanise
Hal Robson Kanu (then bring peace to the Middle East and crack Nuclear Fusion)



My biggest "not-sure-but" is left-back as it is now. Gunter can be great, esp going forward
but deep in my heart I want animals at LB and right back, fearsome warriors. They aren't
always expensive.


Seriously, except for needing a 20+ goal striker, I think we're a VG side
that is currently under-performing. I think last night showed us how
we can play when up for it... We will freshen up, cut wages etc, but I think
every player who played last night (v Bradford) is top-six quality

Pacy Striker, Left Winger who is capable of crossing the ball properly and a Midfielder with a bit of creativity.

In all honesty, I think the major thing we're missing is a 15-20 goal striker, that would make the world of difference, also a natural left back wouldn't go amiss and I'd definitely want us to make Mackie a permanent signing.

You haven't thought about this very much ahve you? £10m is great, but 50k in wages is two premiership quality loanees... You wont be getting much (quality) with that budget.

Assuming that's 50k per week in wages, and all the other costs of signing players are covered outside those numbers.
And that any departures this summer aren't considered.
Then the three obvious requirements are a centre forward with pace, a left winger and a left back.
Keeping Jamie Mackie and getting Chalobah on a season loan would be other priorities.
Depending on who leaves in the summer things like a keeper become more relevant.....

I see he has had 3 goals and an assist in 103 less minutes than
at RFC this season where he scored a single goal with no assists.

He's mostly starting and getting the full 90 minutes
