Ian Royal He strikes me as a needy attention seeker who may be quite unreliable and just trying to impress people.

Agreed...and the 'one day all of you will know ' confirms it..as well as smelling like a wannabe's sweaty tank top.

Sounds like he'd fit in well on HNA....

In terms of doctors I thought we had an ongoing connection with the Berkshire Independent, which would give us access to a wider range of medical expertise than a single doctor on the payroll. Can't see much point in having a bloke sat in a consulting room at Hogwood all day on the off chance of someone developing a nasty rash. You need a doctor on match days and there is a guy who IIRC is a retired trauma specialist who hangs out in the medical room in the South stand.

As for Samrit, there are loads of Thai guys now involved. Mostly I think on the business side. From what I hear there is a lot going on behind the scenes and hopefully it means they are approaching the club seriously and with a long term view rather than just turning up and making flash signings. No idea what they may be planning, but they are the only game in town , and they do have some very solid expertise so fingers crossed ....

I wonder whether its worth looking a bit at Thai culture..and the following remarks are NOT about race, they are about culture.
Anyone who knows Thai culture well will know that it is considered very impolite to give a direct yes or no answer.
Particularly a 'no' answer. ...
So the questioner will be told what they want to hear, you have to read carefully between the lines to see what is really going on.
Now, this group might be different.
They might be westernised in their way of communication..but if not, the chances of getting straight answers before it's all set in concrete one way or another are slim...

You're not getting any answers, straight or otherwise. You are getting a load of rhetoric and spin from an individual who hasn't made remotely clear what his role in our failing club might be.

It would be nice to have some official communication with these new owners rather than some half-arsed Facebook comments. Thus far the ALARM BELLS are ringing loud and clear that this bunch are no more useful than the previous shower.

Tell you what, Marty, you just sit back and lap it all up like a good little supporter whose ticket money is going in the pocket of a bunch of unknowns as you pay for the privelege of watching a poorly functioning football team :!:

The difference is I really don't care who they are or what they do as long as the club is safe. And nothing so far says it's not.
Under performing I agree yes, but that could be under any owners.
So you carry on with your thoughts on what you beleive you are entitled, but you seem to have made your mind up with no foundations with which to base them on.
But hey you go around being a doom monger,
One more thing I think my name is Martin, I'm sure you are just trying to be funny..........but I would not put it past you to just be quite stupid!

Can you point us at the set of accounts that shows money going from the club into the pockets of the owners (known or unknown)?

I guess the only people making money out of RFC these days are the players (and their agents).

Rubbish. TSI came up with half the money required to buy half of the club, where the Thais have come up with the full whack up front.

Got to agree with Floyd on this one.
Until the day we can get our top-6 position back, I am sure all the supporters will be happy
no.......really?
I used to explain that our club is locked by financial fair play rules
Yep...we all know that and covered elsewhere.
our players got injured too much - championship league is quite tough
... Well fvck me Einstein
We have to play weekend & mid-week for months
...... yep it's called a football season
we have no full time doctor
....... I'm sure the club has adequate arrangements
He watched every game of our team
...bloody well hope so ...he's the manager
Nigel stayed here for years
....eh?

So, just asking....why the flying f does everyone start to cream their pants when someone nobody knows who they are or what they do offers this amazing insight on facebook?

Whether or not they bought the club for £1 didn't they buy the debt as well?

Charles Watts' piece today on the Thais:
http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... ve-8165421?

In regards to Samrit:

"What had happened to Samrit? Where was his 25 per cent? I'm not sure it takes a mathematician to work it out.
It's interesting to note that of Niruttinanon's 50 per cent, half of it is registered to a company called GPT Football Investment Ltd.
A quick look on the Companies House website shows that up until September 11, that company was in fact called Big UK Investment Co. Ltd.
And what company is Samrit Bunditkitsada president of? The Billion Innovated Group, or BIG as it is known. Coincidence?"

Sounds like Samrit unofficially has 25%.
Given he seems the most (only) passionate of the 4 Thais, it seems a bit daft all the people telling him to "f off".
