We wouldn't need to buy foreign players (and the cost wouldn't be so inflated) if there were more english players who were good enough. On that basis I would probably agree with the articles headline.

As for the rest tl;dr

Only decision to be made really. Which is a bit uninspiring, have never considered Rooney a 'leader'.

Rooney. Wow. So you can shag prostitutes and swear at the fans and still become England captain. This just makes me want to watch England even less.

Name a recent England captain who hasn't done something wrong, off the field, in the past.....

Rio - drugs test ban
Gerrard - punching a bloke in a bar
Terry - racist
Beckham - cheated on his missus
Lampard - roasting, 9/11 mocking

and its run by someone inside City (apparently) :D

I told Joe Hart that Yaya's wearing an Arsenal shirt. He said Really? But he plays for us? I said Haha the jokes on you, it was Yaya Sanogo.
I told Mario we should have a good catch up soon. He said I'm busy this week, James. I said How about next week? He said I'm busy then too.
I told Yaya that I had beans with dinner & tea. He said That's crazy, imagine if you had them at breakfast too. I said That's a lot of beans

Sanguine England players are bang average.

Better than many who made the last 16 or last 8 in the World Cup, though. We are just shit at being a team.

Rose is Drenthe fat - way too much muscle when I saw him back in July. Not much quality either against a weak TFC side.

What's concerning is that Luke Shaw is having fitness problems AND was spoken to about his fitness levels by Hodgson in Brazil!

Well worth £24M or whatever it was United paid for him then!

Ray Wilkins seems to think it's a bit unfair and just because he's got a big bum.
