I am deeply offended, in fact I might have to go for another dip in the pool here in Majorca just to cool, sorry calm, myself down.

No rumour but saves making a thread for speculation.

Not playing at Palace and will be back at Chelsea in Jan. Think we could go in for him then?* Maybe give them back Hector and they can send Bamford to us.

*if Clarke is still here

Personally i would send him (Hector) back to Chelsea in Jan anyway and i would prefer to see the likes of Cooper given a run in the team. Cooper has so much potential and is a great target to aim at in the oppositions box for corners and set pieces. If i remember correctly he scored two great headers against Norwich a year ago. We also have some great under 21 CB's coming through as well.
Regarding Bamford, its just another loan signing, and i believe we have far to many already, even though it would be one for one.

Send Hector back
Sign Taylor and Fernandez permanently

Hey presto that's 3 loans off the books, and get Bamford in.

Hector is having a poor is run of games but he's currently a much better player than Cooper and to send him 'back' to somewhere he's never been would be very shortsighted.

Agreed, but if it were a possibility to switch him and Bamford in Jan that's definitely something I could probably deal with, assuming Ferdinand was fit with cooper as back up.

That's a massive assumption.

Can't see swapping a CB for a striker is ever a good idea unless you've got a cb surplus. I wouldn't say we do.

Whilst Bamford's a good player, we're absolutely loaded with forwards at the moment. We don't need him.

We also have too many loan players and we're having to leave one out every week. We shouldn't add another and have to leave him out too.
