       Not many football fans in my office so most people stopped talking about it the day after England lost to Uruguay. 
The one exception is the Everton "fanatic" who's been to Goodison twice in his 36 years, waxes lyrical about Sharpe and Southall but has never heard of Derek Mountfield and who on a daily basis, in all seriousness tells me that Royston Drenthe is world class and we should be grateful he plays for us. 
I think he's Dave-Royal's Yorkshire cousin because he took great delight in telling me in depth what happened 3 days previously in the World Cup.
