He's 1/14. That's pretty much as nailed on as it gets.

Ok, on Brendy's confidence:

1. Log into Betfair.
2. Lay Dolan.
3. Return my attention to Betfair and bet against Dolan.

Ian Royal Seems like short-term madness from Dolan.

Really? Huge pay rise and opportunity to get on the managerial merry-go-round at a club which is and always will be far bigger than Reading.

Do badly, get sacked quickly, have a Championship failure on the record and not get another job afterwards.

Nicky Hammond (<3) says he hopes Dolan will be a 'big part of our club for many years to come'.

In other news Leeds' accounts remain frozen with a 950k bill overdue. They won't be paying the necessary compo any time soon.

For the hatty 8)

http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/reading-fc-issue-hands-warning-7247414

Reading have delivered a hands off warning to Leeds United in their chase of Eamonn Dolan.

Royals' academy boss has emerged as United chairman Massimo Cellino's number one choice to take the vacant manager's job at Elland Road.

His odds have shortened to 1/16 on with some bookmakers amid reports from Yorkshire that a deal was very close.

But following a request for a comment on the speculation, Reading's director of football Nick Hammond has made it clear that the club does not want to lose Dolan.

He said: "Reading FC are aware of the interest of another Championship club in our Academy Manager Eamonn Dolan. Eamonn is an integral part of our club and is under contract to Reading Football Club.

"Eamonn has done an incredible job since taking over from Brendan Rodgers and we hope he will be a big part of our club for many years to come.

"He has a fantastic relationship with our manager Nigel Adkins and we do not welcome any approaches from any club for our key staff.

"We hope this is the end of the matter."

Dolan joined Reading as academy manager from Exeter City in 2004 and has gone to work wonders at Madejski Stadium.

He has helped develop several players who made the breakthrough into the first-team including Jem Karacan, Alex McCarthy, Alex Pearce, Gylfi Sigurdsson and most recently Jordan Obita.

And last season under his guidance Reading's Under-21s won the Premier League Cup while the U18s reached the FA Youth Cup semi-final, the furthest any Royals side has ever got in the competition.

During the 2012/13 season, Dolan did take charge of one first-team game for Reading following the sacking of Brian McDermott.

He was in the dug out as Royals were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford. Nigel Adkins was appointed soon after.

I really don't think it would. Financially we're in a better st8 than Leeds, the academy is just about the only good thing we have going for us, and Dolan clearly loves the club. The last thing RFC want right now from a PR perspective is more bad news, so Leeds will have to made a sizeable offer to convince us to let him go. They don't have the spare cash to do that.

Dolan will have to force a move for this to happen, and I'm not sure I can see that happening.

It's tiresome the way every rumour is treated as gospel and in the worst possible light by the usual suspects on here.
