Thought Welbeck was a tad unlucky to be pulled for foot up. Reckon he'd have been given the goal in a prem game.

Definitely, I was surprised the simpleton commentary team didn't get more upset about it.

Fwiw I'd like ManYoo to win tonight, just for the LOLz at all the mongs. Don't get me wrong though, more than happy for them to go out on aggregate

Now? When has German football ever been watchable?

1-0 seems deserved? Even the referee seems a bit fairer in the second half.

What a shame. They needed a clean sheet to have any chance IMO..

Brilliant equaliser. It might be dull and German, but end to end and a goal in about 8 passes was sensational.

Diego's goal for Atletico worth a watch or seven!

Actually enjoyed watching them last season. Thought they played with good tempo and flair. They now seem to be "possession at all costs"

Bayern Munich surprisingly vulnerable to pace when played through the middle of their defence. Decent effort from Man Utd overall, they'll probably need some luck to go through in the 2nd leg - at least it will be watchable with Utd having a slight chance.

I really enjoyed watching them play. Calm, focused on the ball with a hint of Pep's previous team.

United played really well , very organised and pretty astute. Did not expect that, enjoyed watching it unfold.
