PieEater Barcelona are as boring as shit, the only excitement to this game is City going forward.

Agreed.

I watch a lot of La Liga but never watch Barca unless it's El Clasico, most boring team in Spain.

He is so shit. His fault they lost against Chelsea. His fault they're gonna lose tonight. Why the fudge didn't they buy a decent CB in Jan?

I just don't understand why a player makes that sort of challenge - no chance of winning the ball and even if you do there has to be a strong chance the ref may not see that and give the pen anyway.

So instead of likely being 1-0 down with 11, you're basically screwing your own team over.

Barca should have had a penalty for handball (Clichy) and a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside. City do really get lots decisions go their way. Jose was right again.

I don't get why Lescott doesn't get more of a look in. He and Kompany had such an effective partnership when they won the league and I still think he's the best option they have to play alongside him (although Nastasic has been looking better this season).

That second goal for Barcelona has probably killed the tie which is a shame for the second leg.

Pellegrini in hot water for questioning the impartiality of ref. Said a Swedish ref shouldn't have been in charge

It's all so pathetic

Pellegrini is right tbf, the ref was awful. Seemed like every time Barca lost possession it must therefore have been a foul in the ref's view - because they couldn't possibly play a shit pass or be challenged firmly and fairly.

Trouble was, Negredo's just as much of a donkey as Dzeko and the side lacked a bit of dynamism. City will need Aguero on tip top form if they're even going to consider getting a result away in the 2nd leg.

Demichelis makes Gorkss look like Franz Beckenbauer in his pomp. Think I said earlier in this thread that he is the worst footballer I have ever seen play for a top-four side.

For Pellegrini to keep picking him, Demichelis must have found a shedload of child porn in his office.
