Suarez or Aguero

Both on fire at the moment but who would you rather have starting up front for your team?

Gotta be Suarez for me

Suarez at the moment. 17 goals in 12 games, and he might have had 25-30. Creates something out of absolutely nothing, something Aguero does a little less often, although that's not a criticism of him, its like comparing Messi and Ronaldo. Add Bale and that's your top 5 in the world at the moment, and the top 2 aren't anywhere as far ahead as they used to be. Scarily/excitingly only Ronaldo is over 26 years old.

Suarez has 17 goals in 11 league games this season, equalling Torres' total league goals for Chelsea, in 3 years.

Franck Ribery would probably disagree with you over your top 5

And he would be totally entitled to do so. I would disagree with him though.

fair enough, each entitled to our own opinion. I wouldn't say Bale has been anywhere near great since joining Madrid though.

Ribery isn't even the best player in his own team.

Tough question - I think a team would have an easier job of nullifying Aguero's threat, whereas if Suarez was in the team and being marked tight; I'm sure he'd come deep/work the channels to get the ball and then have a better chance of creating his own chance(s) than Aguero would.

many would disagree, but he is the obvious person to put forward right now against the mentioned top as he is widely tipped to be runner up in the Ballon D'or

But the fact is, he's a contender for the Ballon d’Or award - something Bale isn't, nor are any of his team-mates

Any the trophy count?

*LFC fans don't include European goals as they're not in Europe.

This thread was/is about who is the better player between Saurez and Aguero, not who plays for the better team. Your logic would have DJimi Traore rated very highly as the owner of a Champions League Winners medal. Doesn't work like that.
