Did he choose the players or was there a director of football involved? It seemed pretty obvious before they sold Bale that they were just frittering their money away on rubbish.

At the very least they'll take his 1st team sticker off of his coat

Levy's face throughout was a picture

:?:

I wouldn't call many, if any, of their summer signings 'rubbish'.

Next 4 fixtures are fairly favourable (West Ham, Saints, West Brom, Stoke) so if he doesn't get the boot now he has a pretty good chance to get things back on track

alternatively I guess you could say a favourable set of fixtures for a new manager to take on. Help build confidence quickly etc

AVB - highly paid fraud.

BR2 Spurs' fans expectations are ridiculously high.
They are just about a top 6 club and had un unbalanced side last season with just one player providing nearly all of their big moments.
They are going along quite nicely in the Europa League and are not far off top 4.

Their problem IMHO is that none of their signings have yet come off whereas in recent years we have seen players like Mata,Silva and Suarez making an immediate impact at other clubs and Spurs fans seem to think that was bound to happen at their club.
Why he rested their form player Townsend last Sunday and played that idiot Lennon I really don't know-I get the impression that AVB is just a bit too clever at times and possibly over-complicates what is really a quite simple game.

Nearly a month on-was Lennon selected ahead of Townsend? if so poor judgement IMHO.
Once again yesterday we saw why Walker and Dawson aren't the first picks for the England side that some people believe they should be.

I'm not entirely sure all of the signings are his.
He has no recognisable left back available
His best centre half is injured
He keeps chopping and changing his attacking players as if he doesn't know what the best combination is (or trying to keep everyone happy)

Sound familiar?

Personally I thought he was doing a pretty good job until the the Lloris concussion debacle where all of a sudden it looked like he couldn't make a decision in the heat of the battle. The fall out from that has seen him act really oddly with the media and his team selections.

Harsh to sack AVB with his mediocre team

Just disappointed that he has made it it through 2 clubs here and commentators and pundits still can't agree on how to pronounce his name

I do think its a tad harsh to sack him....

Ok he doesn't know his best XI BUT he's taken the team to a 100% unbeaten record in Europe, he's still in the COCUP and obviously the FA Cup, and they are still in the hunt for a European place in the league.

Spurs fan here going a bit mental. Keeps muttering they currently have more points than they did this time last year.

Trouble is, when you buy so many foreign players, it's obvious they take time to settle in. Levy should have known that.

Harry Redknapp - Went back to Pompey after going to Southampton, so it's just a matter of Levy overcoming his ego to complete the comeback... unlikely but not a bad shout at 40/1.

Can only see this coming in as the rumors inevitably perpetuate through social media.
