Officials are currently perusing Cash Converters & Honest John's trading post looking for cast-offs. Heavily weighed down by the loose coinage leftover from Kebe transfer, Mapps fee will be spent on improving the playing surface to upgrade it to Percy Thrower's Cat 1 grass status.

Even though there are no signs of any new arrivals I would be gobsmacked if we didn't sign anyone, especially after Nigel stating our intentions to sign 3. Huge pressure now on the club as we have sold 2 International Players, so real risk of another PR disaster for the club and more importantly a big backward step.

Especially given we got Nige in early so we could get our deals done quickly! Doing business on deadline day probably means its much more likely to fall through as its dependent on multiple factors all falling into place at the same time.
