McAnuff linked with QPR

Jobi interesting QPR at 500k says The Sun this morning, as he has only one year left on his deal. Sounds unlikely tbf.

Why does it sound unlikely? If he chooses to go then it's his last big pay day, which many players his age look for. If he stays and tries to get a new contract, he'll want a bumper deal, and is he worth one? I like him as a winger, but I don't think it'd hurt that much if we lost him either.

Bit ironic as he was talking about wage caps at the end of last year.
Regardless, I don't think he'd be greatly missed.

We need a new generation of players. Young, technical players.

Would be a shame to lose him but maybe a fresh start would do both sides a world of good.

Happy for him to stay, but he's not worth a "bumper" new deal just because it could be his last big pay-day. If anything I would let his contract run down, and then look to offer 1 year renewals thereafter.

obita has sounded like he's done very well since coming back from loan, and oldham fans in the main really liked him, as did portsmouth fans. i'm all for seeing him given a chance next season, with or without mccanuff here.

if kebe comes back fit and hal stays, then we could afford to lose mcanuff anyway.

Not the "club owning" skate that I know and work with re. Obita

After this season and some of the clueless comments on HNA/Radio Berkshire phone-ins re. Jobi....I wouldn't blame him

Although i would urge him to consider the wake of destruction that 'arry leaves behind him, and the inevitable "in administration" that QPR will endure before any new contract expires

etc

That'd be the right sort of deal for QPR, but I hope we tell them where to shove it.

All depends on if Adkins wants McAnuff as captain next season or not......if so, he'll stay

If you want a laugh, have a look at what the QPR fans are saying about it. Seem to think that they can sign any player they want.

This one does not seem to realise they have been relegated

To be fair to the majority of posters on that thread they're not above their station and do realise the division they're in.

Every site has it's idiots - you seem to have picked one out.
