MmmMonsterMunch Personally I feel it's a tad harsh. 2 trophies in 3 seasons isn't to be sniffed at.
He had the fans backing too which lets face it is half the battle.

That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read. The Premier League is a joke.

Fans are generally idiots though. 2 trophies in 3 seasons would be fine at most clubs, but not at Man City. Particularly with some of the poor signings Mancini has made and his complete failure in Europe.
Sandman - are you seriously suggesting that Liverpool should have kept Dalglish as manager?

No Fixed Abode Really? Liverpool currently have 6 more points than they did in the last campaign and are 1 place higher. Does the slight improvement in the league better that of winning the league cup and getting to the FA Cup final? Surely that marginal difference in the league doesn't matter, unless you qualify for the Champions League.

Depends on how you want to look at it. Liverpool have considerably more scope for progression under Rodgers, especially when you consider the younger players he's brought in, and in the long run they look open to lots of improvement. Under Dalglish their long term prospects were not as good, but they did win the League Cup.
I know what I'd be happier with if I was a Liverpool fan, but I guess you Chelsea lot are all about the short term.

Tbh - it's all about winning trophies. Not that you would know anything about that.
