and you dont need to replace everyone you lose. squad sizes are always a bit smaller in the chamionship

The blow shouldn't really need to be softened that much though to be fair, it's not like the players won't all have relegation clauses and they weren't on ridiculous wages to start with.

Surely had something to do with Roberts & Kebe's new deal, and promotion bonuses etc. It was large for Champ level but sustainable by selling one or two players under Madejski, and supposedly Anton's richer so we can forgo the sales. We haven't seen excessive spending of the so called '£90 million' so we'll have a nice pot of money rolling around for next season presumably. No more black holes at least!

To be fair, Shorey hasn’t been a disaster in the Prem. Statistically he made the most number of accurate crosses out of the whole team all season.

Not difficult in truth, considering all our wingers have been stuck on 'overhit' for 7 months.

Definitely think we should go for one Jordon Rhodes rather than a couple of Chris Gutners and Nick Blackmans - someone with a decent track record of scoring goals all over the place that will be able to make the step up, should we be promoted in the next few years.

If we could buy someone like Schneiderlin was a few years ago then I'd be delighted, but the problem with players with potential is they often don't fulfill it (see Simon Church).

Maybe Rhodes was a bad example, I don't want us to spunk £8 million on one player.
