Hes English. Seems to double a transfer fee these days when there is a chance he could play for the national side. look at the likes of Henderson, Carroll and Downing at LOLiverpool compared some of the better players brought in from abroad for half the price

I'm going to go out of my way and say this signing is the only one we need to make on deadline day, and we don't even NEED to make this one.

Ince would give us the option of playing a 4-2-3-1 and give us cover for Kebe and McAnuff if they get injured. We don't need Blackman but he would offer a different
option to a Hunt who will not be here after this summer.

I agree, won't offer much more than kebe for sure, mcanuff is the pie to mcdermott's pie recipe (whatever the hell that means) and we have plenty of back up wingers. However, i find it odd that McDermott mentioned that Ince can play central.... bit of an odd thing to mention IMO.
