maffff Also on TalkSport Jonny coming out and saying that he can't see us coming back from this and getting out of our current position. He's in a very difficult position with the club and being a fan but the last couple of weeks has earned him some kudos this end.

He isn't a Reading fan, he's a Tottenham fan isn't he?

No Fixed Abode All journo's are the same. Most get paid lot's to state the obvious. Can't stand Henry Winter.

I think Henry Winter is one of the best. He actually comes out with observations and opinions beyond what most illicit.

I'm guessing he might have been mean about poor little John Terry one day

LOL @ Kebe 'I don't know who is the Chairman right now..'

On the whole though, good to hear in a way, but I don't think we will have the necessary self-belief to pull off some required shocks..

The trouble with the Jan window is that by the time it closes and you have got your best deal, you have what 12-14 games left?

I don't know anything about this Fordham bloke but I am a bit surprised to hear Jimmy's quoted words when on hearing Jimmy (rarely ) speak it struck me that his English wasn't then very good.
I did hear Dellor the other night and not having heard him for a few weeks there was a massive change from his previous towing of the party line for most things Reading (a bit like melonhead).
It does appear that things aren't right in various areas of the club and these things generally only come out when a team is doing badly.

Is Pog really on £60,000 per week as suggested by Adie and Dellor?
If that is the case then I think it is the most irresponsible and reckless piece of contract business ever done by the club.
That is the sort of money that Defoe and Walcott are on ,not a player who scored the odd goal for Fulham last season.
Again if true no wonder Fulham weren't interested on competing on wages when they could get Berbatov on what I guess would be no more.
Even if Pog is on the earlier quoted £35,000 per week he is very well paid at Premier League level.

I think you're right, but I mean he's held a season ticket for years, even before he was involved in a journo fashion. He has an emotional tie to the club work aside.

Did he? Fair play then if so. I thought he transferred in when Nick Ive moved on.

Quite a rarity these days, an article that actually speaks out instead of reeling out the same old cliche's and bullshit.

Well done Fordham for printing it (he didn't have to even once he'd got Jimmy on record).

That's a fantastic write-up - and bloody well said Jimmy Kebe. McD wouldn't stop Kebe playing for sticking up for him and the team, but AZ will have the right arse when he sees that - maybe tell McD to drop him, McD will refuse, AZ will want to get rid of McD, McD will tell him that's his prerogative but none of the players will support AZ in that decision and won't even try and get any points for the rest of the season and that the fans will disappear in a drove if that happens. AZ may be forced to spend money in case we the fans start asking too many questions......could be in for a strange old New Year chaps.

All this sh*t that's going on is precisely why I hate the premier league and everything that it represents. It just turns everyone in to t*ssers! And that includes Kebe. He obviously wants out and is saying alot of cr*p to make his own position at the club difficult and untenable. If his place at the club becomes untenable right before the January window then the only door he is heading out of will be the exit.

Poor old Brian McDermott that he has to lead such a bunch of t*ssers! And typical dumb Reading fans misinterpreting Kebe's criticism of the club. The only thing Kebe wants is to get the hell out of Berkshire. He has no love for Reading FC.

The only good guy in all this is McDermott. A fantastic manager being treated very poorly by his players, his supporters and the clubs owners. In these circumstances that McDermott is in, no wonder he is struggling. Everyone is just working against him.

Agreed, it's awful how the supporters, owners and players are making Brian use shit tactics over and over again.

Whatever Brian tries to do won't work because he doesn't have good enough players to execute it.

And then you have players like Kebe, Pog and Guthrie who all think they are bl**dy amazing players when in reality they are utter sh*te.

The owners didn't back Brian with funds to improve his side (Kebe was right but he only said what he said out of self interest. The selfish git wants to leave)

The players clearly aren't supporting him and the fans are giving him so much grief which is not really deserved.

Niall Quinn Sunderland Chairman said "we were blown out the water by his wage demands".

When you here things like that you must think we had money available.

I've spoken to him in person and on twitter about it before. I'm sure he held an ST but someone's welcome to ask him and confirm, memory does get a bit hazy.

To be fair to the guy he knows a hell of a lot more than he can often report on, and if you talk to him he's both knowlegeable and articulate with it (often more so than he comes across in his articles). The club does put him in a difficult position as if he burns bridges then he won't get any of the 'exclusives' if they shut up shop. Plus Craig Mortimer is a complete belmont and fickle with it.
