Just a hunch this but we're known to have been scouting in Russia this week and its well documented McGeady would love a move back to UK. Have a feeling this will have been looked at as a possible loan....

Would be an excellent signing, but it would be a strange one. Would only be on loan I reckon as I doubt he'd want to join a sinking ship permanently.

he seems to be one of those wingers like kebe who will be incredible one match then have 2 or 3 off matches. he is an experienced irish international who is in just about every single one of irelands competitive matches and he is playing for the best team in russia. would be a good punt i guess. i imagine wages would be a problem once again...
