Morrison to Arsenal

Arsenal are being linked with a move for Reading defender Sean Morrison, who has only just forced his way into the Royals side.
The 21-year-old has impressed for the Royals in central defence after breaking into the side this season and is thought to have caught the eye of Arsene Wenger during the recent Carling Cup tie.

Gunners scouts have been keeping an eye on him ever since and reports have claimed that a bid could be in the pipeline ahead of the January window opening.

Reading are in a strong position though as boss Brian McDermott has just secured the player to a new four-year deal so the Gunners would have to pay big bucks to have any chance of striking a deal.

Also being linked all over twitter. Obviously don't want him to go but if he did go I would assume he would go for quite a hefty price due to his young age.

If Zaha is worth £15million then Morrisson is worth at least £20million.

If Morrison goes, I go. I'll follow him anywhere.

if an offer comes in thats big enouygh, we'd have to offer him the chance to decide himself imo

id be devestated if he went though, and would argue that his best interests lie in getting regular 1st team prem football with us, at least for this season

Totally agree but think our league position come January may help him make any decision should an offer be lodged...I'm sure any reasonable offer will be seriously considered by club...it's the Reading Way :D

Has played well but has not been faultless - would be very surprised in this unless Arsenal think they can get him cheaply.

I was saying to my friend that he seems the kind of guy that will let the paper talk get to his head and he think he is better than the team.

I didn't think it would happen this quick though...
