Man Friday All those dockheads who say "cheer up, we got a point away from home, wot's the problem?", do you ever look beyond the end of your nose? Ultimately over the season performances will equal points. Perform like that every week and we'll finish bottom by miles.

Royal Rother When Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City etc. play poorly and get a point it's a sign of potential champions, yet when we...
You get my point.

When Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City etc take a 2-0 lead against the run of play, ge absolutely battered all game with only 21% possession and end up lucky to get a 2-2 draw, you know they aren't contenders for champions.
When a team reliquishes the lead 4 times in six games, can't win games they play well in and have only 3 points from a possible 18, you know they're going to be in trouble.

BBC said it was 40% possession. Who gives a crap about possession. We could see we played bad, why does everyone have to bring it up?

Libertine I really figured this would be the game we got our first win. Swansea City is struggling, winless and goalless in their last 3. Off to a 2-0 lead despite being outplayed by this "out of form" team in the first half. Then couldn't get out of our half after the interval. And the longer we go without a win the more the pressure builds on the team.
As much as the Newcastle game was a step in the right direction this was a step back in terms of us "finding ourselves" and imposing our will on the game. We were really far too passive, to expect a win, for 80% of the game...

Ian Royal I never expected anything other than a struggle leon, I'm just pointing out how stupid and blinkered a point RR made.

right...well I disagree. An away point is an away point - doesn't matter how we get it. They can't take it away from us because we were sh1t in the second half. Does the point from Newcastle at home count for more because we absolutely battered them and they cheated a goal?

We were too passive but it's Swansea. They play really good football. There was no-one in the championship last year that played anywhere near as fluent passing football as them.
It was frustrating to watch today but give it time. Brian will have learnt a lot from the game today...

Perfectly put.
