Ian Royal My mum's mates with Cilla Black and she says there's no problems at all and it'll be completed on Thursday.

And she coldnt get you a ticket for the Birmingham game !!!

I was at Birmingham.

So Cilla did come good in the end? Great news. She's a keeper, that one.

I saw Kastia last night and she told me that it was going to be finalised by the end of the week.

Apparently McDermott paid tribute to the new owners last night when picking up his LMA award.

A strange thing to do if the deal is already off...

There's been some confusion here, they meant to say end of the weak (http://endoftheweak.ca/) the plan was to have SJM and Anton release the news at the Canadian Hip hop event during a one on one rap battle. Maybe they're waiting for next years one now??

I did note Samuelson's comment (somewhere in the thread!) that there is someone else involved, as well as the possibility that if daddy isn't bank rolling it, he may at least by acting as guarantor. These were things that were guessed at a while ago, so there does appear to have been a few creaks of openness appearing. It does make me wonder though if this is a Russian Male sort of Verruca Salt...... 'Daddy I want to football club' ...... 'Ok son, we'll see what is available'.

Could be a bit too early to hit the alarm klaxon yet, and as I said, if Samuelson is telling the truth, than the fact that they are now admitting that daddy will be there in some capacity may yet prove to be good news.

Cobi Ah, Jon Keen has found his voice again and we can expect a blog very soon. Prepare yourself for more negativity, and the full support of one repetitive and easily lead poster...

He's a tiresome little man.

Apparently journo's have 'uncovered' TSI. How have TSI been 'uncovered' in any way, shape or form? Or have I missed something?

Indeed he is. He certainly prefers the sound of his own voice.

TSI uncovered eh? lol. That'll be us now knowing AZ, BZ and AO.

Royal Lady Where have you seen all this, out of interest?

His Twatter feed.

He made ONE comment, as far as I could see! LOL

No idea. But he gave the impression Dirk was mouthing off on twitter - I was surprised to find just one tweet about TSI and that was saying he would be posting a blog about them sooner rather than later, or words to that effect.

Interested to know who the other person is who has been labelled as "easily lead" and who gives him their full support though....

TommyF We have a UAE billionaire who lives round the corner from me in Flackwell Heath called Khalaf Al Habtoor.

Please, Khalaf, buy us and put your construction business on our shirts (and get your guys to build a bigger stadium).

By all accounts, very well regarded locally and sponsors a young persons award each year in the local community.

TSI just feels like it's off. Shame if it is but maybe we can get a real billionaire now WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

ha! Old boy Khalaf is very old school. Wise, shrewd, caring who worked hard for what he has achieved and built one of the UAE's and Gulf's largest, most respected trading families. (Shame he is knocking down the Metropolitan hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road - this week - and with it the demise of the Rattlesnake. )

The same cannot be said about one or two of his sons, though......
