Royal Lady McD did say he was going to see a player in Denmark.

It's not likely to be Sigurdarson because a) Lillestrom is in Norway, not Denmark and b) it's Odense vs Aarhus he's apparently watching.

Apparently there will be a Premiership manager in attendance at the Molde - Lilleström game tomorrow watching Sigurdarson. Reading are not officially a Premiership club yet and I doubt Brian would mistake Norway for Denmark. I predict it will be Roy Hodgson at WBA.

But you've said we've watched him already, so we may already have seen enough to enter discussions for the player (Nick Hammond) while Brian looks at other targets. If he's half as good as you say then I'm sure there will be a lot of interested parties, from both the UK and abroad.

Oh to hell with it, we should just sign a team of -sson's whether Sigurs, Gunnars or any other -sson.... with only an Aussie in goal.

Those Icelandic/Nordic/Scandis know how to fight in the Greed League and they do alright by us. Oh, I'd let the Latvians in too - Baltics, close enough.

Understand that Sigurdarson didn't even play the other night?

You're right - withdraw himself from the game 2 hours before kickoff with a minor injury. Now Talksport reports David Moyes wants to pair him with Jelavic next season - Reading and Sunderland also interested: http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/ ... over-icela

Brian lining up a £1-million bid says the Daily Mirror this morning. Everton also bidding apparently.

I really can’t see us being interested in this guy. Hew would be a great risk as he has only played in a low level league and might not be anywhere good enough for the PL. His scoring rate is relatively poor (about the same as Church) and he is also over 21 - so would take a squad place.

I think we are far more likely to go for an experienced striker to add to Roberts, Hunt and ALF.

I think we'll be playing him as a winger instead of a striker should we sign him.
